Fall Convocation to Mark Beginning of Semester at CSUSM

The 2009 fall semester at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) gets underway next week, but before students return to campus President Karen S. Haynes will address the faculty and staff during Convocation.

The event will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. 

625 students will be moving into the University Village Apartments on Saturday, August 29.  Classes begin on Monday, August 31. 

Who:  Karen S. Haynes, President of California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), administrators, faculty, and staff.

What:  Convocation is an annual welcome to the faculty and staff of CSUSM and marks the beginning of the semester.

When:  Thursday, August 27, 2009, reception begins at 9:00 a.m. with the program and remarks beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Where:  The California Center for the Arts, Escondido located at 340 N. Escondido Blvd., Escondido, CA 92025
