"In the Executive's Chair," a popular course at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) in the College of Business Administration, kicks off the year with 14 senior executive-level guests visiting campus to share tips, tricks, strategies and challenges of running a business or organization.

Inspired by the Bravo television series, Inside the Actor's Studio, the class is part of the Center for Leadership Innovation and Management Building (CLIMB). Rajnandini "Raj" Pillai, Ph.D. and David Bennett serve as the hosts.  The intention is to help students learn from the best by bringing in top business leaders to talk about their careers, their companies, and the critical business decisions they commonly face.

The class meets from 10:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. most Tuesdays through December in Markstein Hall, Room 125. The discussions are open to members of the campus and business communities at no charge, space permitting.
