Latina Dance Project Presents at Three Campuses

Three campuses - three events! The North County Higher Education Alliance's (NCHEA) third annual dance event brings the critically acclaimed Latina Dance Project to Cal State San Marcos, MiraCosta College, and Palomar College. The Latina Dance Project is a performance group that supports the contemporary expression of the Latina experience through modern dance as concert performance, scholarship, and research.

Their three-day residency will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 4, with a free lecture and demonstration at CSUSM in the Arts Building, Room 111 at 7:00 p.m. The lecture will address the creative process of making Coyolxauhqui ReMembers, a contemporary dance-theatre work based on an Aztec myth.

Coyolxauhqui ReMembers will be presented at MiraCosta College Theatre on Friday, Feb. 6, at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $12. On Thursday, Feb. 5, Palomar College Dance Department will host a free Master Class at 7:00 p.m.
