Dr. Marie Thomas received her Ph.D. in psychometrics from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York. She is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at California State University San Marcos, and is also serving as the interim co-director of the Faculty Center.  Previously, she was on the faculty at the College of Mount St. Vincent (New York), and worked as a Personnel Research Psychologist at the Navy Personnel Research and Development Center in San Diego. 

 

Her research interests include psychological measurement, statistics and research methodology; gender issues; and the scholarship of teaching. Professor Thomas received the 1998-1999 Harry E. Brakebill Distinguished Professor Award.
