The advisor for the Native Studies minor is Joely Proudfit, who may be reached by e-mail at jproudfi@csusm.edu or by phone at (760) 750-4619.For the form to declare a minor, go to Admissions and Records in the Cougar Center, off Tukwut Courtyard in the third floor of the administration building.
Before joining CSU San Marcos Native Studies faculty as coordinator, Dr. Proudfit was director and founder of the Master of Public Administrative in Tribal Government program at CSU San Bernardino.
In 2000, received her PhD in Political Science from Northern Arizona University.
She is currently an active member of the Cal State San Marcos Native Advisory Council.
