The School of Nursing offers CPR Certification Classes once a month for our nursing students and for the general public. Classes are always on a Saturday from 8:30am - 11:00am. The course is Healthcare Providers/BLS with AED (no first aid). Some Saturdays we are able to offer more than one class.
The cost is $ $45 for RE-CERTIFICATION. The re-certification cost is only available if your card has been expired for six months or less. Please bring cash or check on the morning of the class to pay the instructor. The re-cert CPR cards are usually ready the Monday after the class. They will be available for pick-up at our office, or you can provide a self-addressed, stamped envelope and have it mailed to you.
If you are a NEW CERTIFICATION you will have a 2-part class. You must do the online training (paid via AHA website) which is a $22 cost, then you must attend a Skills practice, skills testing portion, in which you will pay the instructor $30. This will be a total of $52.
If there are no New-Certification Courses listed below, all New Certification students will be placed in a RE-CERTIFICATION COURSE, and will not need to do the Online portion.
To attend a class, fill out the Online Registration Form located underneath the CPR tab.
