Traditional BSN Statistics for Admitted Cohorts
The statistics below represent admission information for our admitted Traditional BSN cohorts in Fall 2008, Fall 2009, Fall 2010, Fall 2011, and Fall 2012. We admitted approximately 40 Traditional BSN students in each of these admit terms. We did not admit a Spring Cohort in any of these years. We anticipate the same level of State funding for our Fall 2013 Cohort (admit of 40 students). We do not expect to admit any Traditional BSN students in Spring 2013.
The 'average' and 'range' statistics, below, refer only to the admitted cohort.

Footnotes:
* CSU San Marcos utilized impaction criteria to more greatly restrict admission to the University for 2010-2011.
**Not everyone at that point cut-off was necessarily admitted. In the case of a tie, we give priority to those with prior U.S. military service, and then we use a lottery to determine who gets admitted.
*** The low GPA's are not reflective of a typical admitted student. These are examples of where an applicant has earned the full 10 points for Work Experience, the full 5 points for Volunteer Experience and the full 10 points for Language Other than English. But this serves as an excellent illustration of what can be accomplished by having earned points in these other, optional Criteria areas.
**** The TEAS exam has been redesigned slightly over the course of this four-year time span. We will require Version 5, or later, for Fall 2012.
