When and How to Apply for Admission to the
Generic/Basic BSN Program at CSU San Marcos

You must complete a separate, online application to the School of Nursing for entry to this Nursing program.  There isn't any 'application fee' to apply to our School of Nursing.  The Fall 2011 Applications for entry to our Generic/Basic BSN or LVN to BSN Programs will be linked from Oct. 7 - Dec. 10, 2010 on our Nursing Web site, under the Fall 2011 Applications link.

Students will apply during the following time lines. You do not need to have the Pre-Nursing Core coursework completed until the end of the previous spring term for a fall entry to the program.  For the Generic/Basic BSN program, student will have until the end of the previous spring term to complete the TEAS exam or for other coursework or volunteer/work experience to be applied toward optional admission points to the program.
