This community partner offers a unique opportunity to work directly with migrant workers on Sunday afternoons. Staff cooks and serves a hot meal for the workers. DO NOT need to speak Spanish! Due to risk management requirements, please contact the Office of Service Learning if interested! |

The Phoenix House Teen Recovery Centers provide after-school treatment for adolescents and their families. Teens attend intensive sessions at the centers on weekdays, and participate in "clean and sober" supervised recreational activities on weekends. Assist at the Carlsbad location for with community outreach, data management, client follow-ups, fundraising, and to provide support to staff in daily operations. Requirements: Fingerprints/TB testing, and orientation -- contact agency at least 4-6 weeks prior to class start date. Resume needed. |
