Interested in Becoming a tutor to earn your service learning hours? Tutors are responsible for: As a part of the program, each tutor will be matched with a youth placed in the San Diego County foster care placement. Tutors are required to complete 20 hours of service learning throughout one school semester. (These hours can be used towards the required hours in the EDU 350 course, but not limited to EDU 350.) Tutors will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the semester and will be able to use the experience gained through this services learning assignment as part of their portfolio.
