American Association for the advancement of Science:Minority Scientist Network
MiSciNet is a bi-monthly online publication the main goal of which is to provide support to underrepresented minority students pursuing an education and career in science, mathematics, and engineering. Our audiences include underrepresented minority students--undergraduates and graduates--faculty, mentors, and administrators responsible for minority recruitment and retention programs. By developing and nurturing a virtual network of minority scientists through the medium of the Web site, it is our hope that we may also help real networks to grow.
Remember to visit the website's Ancestors of Science page to learn more about the lives and achievements of scientists, engineers, and innovators of Native American, African, and Hispanic descent. Located under the following links: community » heros and sheros
