The Benefits of the Early Assessment Program:
- High school students get an early signal about their college readiness in English and math, an abundance of college preparation resources, and an adequate amount of time to prepare before entering CSU.
- Presents the senior year as a time for more direct and specific preparation for college math and English placement tests as well as entry level college coursework.
- After participating in the EAP, students who are determined CSU-ready (See “Exemption Designations”) will be EXEMPT from taking the CSU English and/or math placement tests, thus eliminating time, effort and money spent on preparing for and taking the CSU placement tests during their senior year.
