What is TRIO/Educational Talent Search  (ETS)?

The Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program is an academic preparation program designed to assist 6th – 12th grade students in developing the skills necessary to ensure academic success. The goal of TRIO/ETS is to encourage students to successfully complete middle school, graduate from high school and continue their college education.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the CSUSM TRIO/Educational Talent Search Program is to provide academic advising, college & career awareness, test preparation assistance, college field trips, assistance in completing scholarship applications, and financial aid advising and much more. The CSUSM TRIO/ETS program provides services to a total of 600 participants at both Oceanside High School and Jefferson Middle School.

The Educational Talent Search Program is made possible by a federal TRIO grant provided by the U.S. Department of Education and in collaboration with California State University San Marcos Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program, Oceanside High School and Jefferson Middle School therefore all services are FREE.
