PeopleSoft Navigation Changes for Online Absence Reporting for December 2012

Please be advised that PeopleSoft Time and Labor will continue to be available for employees to report leave usage through December 2012. Absence Management will replace our current method of absence reporting in Time and Labor in January 2013.

All employees should report their absences for the entire month of December online in PeopleSoft Time and Labor on or before December 21, 2012.

Campus Closure Days
Dec. 24, 2012, and Dec. 31, 2012, are not designated as holidays. Employees must use their available leave credits to cover both campus closure days. For specific information on reporting time for campus closure dates, please refer to the prior notification provided by Human Resources. You can access the campus closure information document at:

PeopleSoft Online Navigation for reporting time for December 2012
Go to:
Click on: My CSUSM
Enter your: User ID
Enter your: Password
In the Red Box – My HR Resources
Click on: Timesheet
Your timesheet view automatically defaults to allow you to view by each week. (Keep this setting)
Click on: next week
Or Click on: previous week and enter your hours online for each absence
Continue to click on “next week” until you see Dec. 24 and Dec. 31
You can enter your time for Dec. 24. and Dec. 31. using this method
If you change your “view by” to Time Period, you will be unable to view Dec. 31
