Governor's Compact

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger committed to a long-term resource plan for UC and CSU that addresses base budget allocations, enrollment, student fees and other key program elements for 2005-06 through 2010-11. In exchange for this long-term stability, UC and CSU committed to focusing their resources to address long-term accountability goals for enrollment, student fees, financial aid, and program quality. To allow appropriate monitoring of progress toward these goals, UC and CSU commit to providing student and institutional outcome data in numerous program areas including program efficiency, utilization of system wide resources, and student-level information. The details of this Compact are contained in the body of this document.
