Cougar Watch is a community based crime prevention program patterned after the successful Neighborhood Watch programs used in many cities.
We need your help! During most of the day there are 10,000 set of eyes on campus. So if you witness something suspicious you can help by doing the following:
Report all suspicious behavior to the University Police Department immediately.
Program the University Police Department phone number into your cell phone. (760) 750-4567
Be Alert!
Get involved by attending Cougar Watch meetings.
Cougar Watch offers a wide array of crime prevention and awareness information. You will find brochures, programs and speakers as well as Cougar Channel broadcasts and Listserv announcements. Topics include vehicle safety, office safety, identity theft, and alcohol related crimes to name a few. A list of presentations offered can be found on the University Police website, www.csusm.edu/police
