| Definition: | The California State University Management Personnel Plan (MPP) is an integrated personnel system that addresses the employment rights, benefits, and conditions of California State University employees designated as "management: or "supervisory" under the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act (HEERA).
An MPP employee serves at the pleasure of the campus President or the Chancellor, as appropriate. MPP employees do not serve a probationary period and cannot be granted permanent status. |
