Video Editing

There are seventeen post-production stations on the second floor of the Kellogg Libary, with identical software complements based on the latest versions of Apple's iLife and Final Cut Pro Studio suites of tools:

The Open Lab (KL2000) - 12 stations

All stations have:

• Apple Macintosh dual-G5 workstations
• Dual monitors
• Final Cut Pro suite of video post-production tools

Some stations are also equipped with source racks with VHS, DVD, MiniDV, and DVCAM players to aid in importing video from media.

Editing Rooms - 5 stations

There are five video editing rooms in the facility. All five are identical and are equipped with:

• Apple Macintosh dual-G5 workstations
• Dual monitors
• Panasonic AG-DV2500 VTRs
• 14" NTSC studio monitor
• Final Cut Pro suite of video post-production tools
• Sound system
• Ergonomic desk and chairs (2)
