Lost In Happiness

The woman at Disneyland selling balloons
is with children all the time,
surrounded by a sea of mouse ears.
The balloons in her hand want to be free and
pull on her hand, but she won't let them go.
She fears if one balloon is lost,
a child will cry.
Her mind is Disney, and tears
mean the start of a salty flood.
Happy music fills her ears constantly, but
she no longer gets the happy feeling
the music brings.
She is immune to Disney, yet
she has become a character in
the happiest place on earth.
