Wonders In The Wood

Parts of me are all over the world,
sitting on an emperor's arm,
resting in a beggar's cup. |
My hair is in Yosemite,
sleeping in the wavy trees.
My blood is on a rock in Kauai,
Cells of my skin shrivled
like a dry leaf in the desert.
My knowledge in my house, in my mother's hand
as she shapes my future.
My father holds my soul as he as he teaches me
wonders of wood. My family grasps love that will never leave.
