Psychology Academic Resource Laboratory (PARL)

The Psychology Academic Resource Laboratory (PARL) is a resource for all undergraduate students in psychology and the social sciences. The purpose of the PARL is to provide academic support for enhancing quantitative, computing, writing, biological, and research methodology skills that are essential to psychology. The PARL also offers a variety of specialized computer programs and tutorials on statistics, research methods, psychometrics, and the biological bases of behavior. Psychology graduate students staff the lab, which will be available during the semester on a drop-in basis (hours are posted below).  Graduate assistants also provide limited individual attention for academic consultation. Finally, we plan to schedule workshops, symposia, and videos presented by faculty, staff, and graduate students throughout the year. The presentations might include writing APA style papers, graduate/professional schools information, career options in psychology, the Internet, and research topics in psychology. Check with Soheyla Mohseni  at 750-4102 for further information about PARL.
