We welcome you to the website of the Psychology Department at California State University, San Marcos.  Psychology is the empirical investigation of behavior from a biological, cognitive, and/or psychosocial perspective.  We invite you to browse these pages to learn more about our programs and the support we offer to students.

  • CHAD information meeting:  Thursday, December 4th, 2014; 12-12:50pm; ARTS 240.
  • A new major in Child and Adolescent Development (CHAD) has been approved, to be offered by the Psychology Department, with the final details of the curriculum expected to be approved in late Fall of 2014. The new CHAD major is not yet listed in the catalog, but is expected to appear in the catalog supplement during the Spring. At that point, students will be able to become CHAD majors. The CHAD major will be housed in the Psychology Department. Please consult this list for courses that will meet requirements in the CHAD major and will be offered in Spring 2015.
