17th Annual Research Fair

The 17th Annual CSUSM Psychology Student Research Fair took place on Friday, April 16, 2010. It featured a Keynote Address from Dr. Michael Hogg (Claremont Graduate University), student poster sessions (with over 70 students representing four colleges/universities), and a luncheon.

Dr. Hogg's address, "The Trouble with Identity: How Uncertainty Breeds Extremism" provided a fascinating look at what leads people to become involved with extremist groups.  If you were unable to attend, you will want to follow the link to hear the address.
