Please plan to join us this year to celebrate 20 years of the Research Fair! The 20th Annual CSUSM Psychology Department Research Fair will take place on Friday, April 19, 2013. The keynote address will be given by Dr. Howard Friedman, Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside.  Dr. Friedman's research on health and longevity is recognized worldwide.  Dr. Friedman has helped us to understand how personality predicts longevity, and the role it plays in disease.  He has received the James McKeen Cattell Fellow award from the Association of Psychological Science (APS) and the career award for “Outstanding Contributions to Health Psychology” from the American Psychological Association (Div. 38).  He is an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS); the American Psychological Association (APA); and the Society of Behavioral Medicine.

Dr. Friedman is also an award winning instructor.  He has received the UC Riverside Distinguished Teaching Award, the Western Psychological Association's Outstanding Teaching Award and the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research.  We are truly honored to have Dr. Friedman give the keynote address at our 20th Annual Research Fair.

The Fair will also feature poster and paper sessions, a career panel, and a luncheon.  This year's program is now available.

Please consider getting involved with the celebration!
