PEER Nomination Guidelines:

Please review the categories and the nomination rules below:

Both the nominee and the nominator must be current, full-time or part-time Finance & Administrative Services Division employees, including UARSC employees. 

  • You may nominate up to three staff members within FAS for the Peer Team Awards:

    • One staff member within your department
    • One staff member in another department
    • One  staff member either within or outside your department
    • You may submit a total of 3 nominations: 3 staff members (one inside your department, one outside of your department, and one person from any department in the division)
  • You may not nominate the same individual for multiple categories.
  • Managers may not participate in the nomination process.
  • Self-nominations are not accepted.  
  • Please exclude the nominee’s name in the descriptive portion of the nomination. Nominees’ names and any other descriptive information (department, projects) will be “scrubbed” and removed from the decision making process. 
  • In order to ensure an unbiased process, the PEER Team members (Tipper Phillips, Hoami Thamracksa, Mercedes Wilson, Heather Zarnesky), PEER Team sponsors (Chris Lambert and Annie Hoss), the Vice President of FAS (Linda Hawk) and facilitator (Jennifer Williams) are not eligible to nominate, be nominated, or receive awards. 
  • All nominations are kept confidential unless nominator selects yes to disclose his or her name.
  • Either bullet format or essay format will be acceptable.

  • Nominations are not to exceed 200 words. Only the first 200 words of the nomination will be moved forward for PEER Team review.
  • Nominations will be excepted until March 5th.
