Come join us on a weekend camping trip to the land of the extremes in Death Valley National Park, the hottest, driest, lowest, and largest National Park in the lower 48. A unique area shaped by the extremes from the towering peaks that are frosted with snow, rare rainstorms bringing vast fields of wildflowers, and lush oases that harbor fish and refuge for wildlife and humans. Despite its name, Death Valley harbors a great diversity of life. Join us on hikes through narrow canyons and sand dunes as we not only explore the physical beauties of the park, but the history as well. Students will learn and apply the basics of outdoor leadership, stewardship, and environmental responsibilities through Leave No Trace Principles.
