Applying for a Waiver

If an employee is going to be driving a state vehicle or claiming mileage before they are able to attend a Defensive Driving Course, they may be eligible for a temporary waiver. A waiver will only be issued once the employee has signed up for the next course and will expire on the day of the schedule course. To apply for a waiver the driver must present a COPY of their California State Driver's License the following paperwork signed and completed.
