Humberto Garcia is the campus Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist.  His serves as the subject matter expert for the campus Hazardous Materials Program , Injury Illness and Prevention Program, Regulatory Compliance, Food Safety and the campus Learning Management System.  He serves as a consultant to CSUSM faculty in matters that pertain to hazardous materials/waste and laboratory safety.  Mr. Garcia serves as one of the RM&S emergency responders and safety trainers, and assists in a variety of other related safety areas.  He also is the RM&S department web developer.

He received his BS in Business Administration from CSUSM, and has been in the EHS field for over nine  years.
