Heather Zarnesky worked as a police dispatcher for 4 years at California State University, San Marcos Police department. Heather is a POST certified dispatcher; she is trained in active shooter scenarios, RIMS/NIMS training, she worked with San Marcos Fire department and San Marcos Sheriff in mutual aid and emergency response calls. Two years ago, Heather transferred to Risk Management and Safety where she works as an Administrative Assistant. Heather coordinates the management of the office.  She is primarily responsible for budget operations, coordinates the department training programs, and is the front line customer service provider.
