SASS Mission and Vision

The mission of the Student Academic Support Services area is to serve a highly diversified student body in meeting their academic goals and preparing them for life beyond the University by:

• Assisting students in meeting specific University graduation requirements (the Computer Competency Requirement, the Language Other Than English Requirement, and the All-University Writing Requirement)
• Providing information and services for effective career life management and academic planning
• Providing learning communities, supplemental instruction, tutoring and services that empower students to achieve academic success
