Priority registration period for Fall 2011 in MyCSUSM for eligible students.  All holds must be cleared before your registration appointment for fall classes.

Fall 2011 schedule adjustment period (from 12:01 am on May 7 through 11:59 pm on Aug 28) in MyCSUSM. You may add and drop classes in MyCSUSM.

Memorial Day - campus closed.

Application for undergraduate graduation for Spring/Summer 2012 opens (closes September 15, 2011). $15 late fee in effect beginning Sep 16.

Registration begins for post baccalaureate and returning undergraduate Fall 2011 admits.

Independence Day observed – campus closed.

Payment deadline for classes reserved Apr 25 through July 11.

Payment deadline for classes reserved from July 12 through Aug 8.

Payment deadline for classes reserved from August 11 through Aug 21. See payment schedule in the Fees and Charges section. Starting at 12:01 am on Aug 22, Fall 2011 fees are due in full the next business day by noon.

Add/drop period for Fall 2011 during regular business hours; adds with permissions numbers – use MyCSUSM; drops can be done in MyCSUSM from 12:01 a.m. on Aug 29 through 11:59 p.m. on Sept 12.

Aug 29 - Sep 12

Open University. (Over 60 Program, cross, concurrent, and visitor enrollment – tentative. Decision to be made prior to beginning of fall 2011 term.)

Labor Day - campus closed.

Sep 6

Last day to drop classes with no academic record for classes that meet the fall first session of the term.

Sep 7

First day that withdrawals done in MyCSUSM through Sep 26 in which a “W” will be charged to the student’s academic record.  Withdrawals after Sep 26 for classes that meet the first session of the term may be granted by petition for serious reasons only.

Sep 12

Last day to add Fall 2011 classes. (Includes classes that meet full term, first session of the term, and second session of the term.)

Last day to change from full-time to part-time status.

Sep 12

Last day to drop classes with no academic record for full session of the fall term.

Sep 13

Last day to change grading option for classes that meet the full session of the term.

Sep 14

$25 Late Registration and $15 Late Add Fee in effect for all sessions of term.

Last day for undergraduates to apply for spring/summer 2012 graduation (Applications are accepted from Jun 1, 2011 – Sep 15, 2011.)

$15 late fee in effect for spring/summer 2012 graduation applications submitted after Sep 15.

Oct 21

Last day of classes that meet the first half of the semester.

Oct 22

First day of class for fall 2011 classes that meet the second session of the term.
