Understanding Your Registration Appointment Time

Spring 2013 Registration Appointment Table

Continuing students are granted access to course registration each semester on a priority basis. The individual’s priority is based on criteria established by the University, including, but not limited to, class level and special consideration status.

Unfortunately, due to the volume of registrations that occur during the registration period, the University cannot consider a request for any changes to your assigned registration appointment.

For the spring 2013 semester, over 10,000 students will register over a 15-day period. Students will register on the following days and times as established by the University.

Through the registration period, undergraduate students will be allowed to register for up to 13 units and to waitlist for no more than 8 units. On Monday, December 17, the 13-unit registration limit will be lifted, and students will then be able to register for up to 17 units. These registration and waitlist limits are intended to provide a reasonable class schedule for all students in spring 2013 and to ensure that as many students as possible are able to attain full-time status for financial aid purposes.

Information about unit limit exceptions can be found at the Limit on Course Registration Units for Spring 2013 page.
