ONLINE EXIT COUNSELING
To complete the Direct Loans counseling session on-line, go to StudentLoans.gov and select Exit Counseling under Tools and Resources. Continue to select Exit Counseling until you are asked to provide the following:
- SSN
- First Two Characters of Last Name
- DOB
- PIN. Your U.S. Department of Education PIN number is required to access your Exit Counseling session, as you will be accessing secure information. If you cannot remember your PIN, you may request a duplicate PIN at the PIN website.
In the Schools List Filter, you will select California State University, San Marcos (030113). At the end of the session your results will be electronically transmitted to CSUSM.
