Bereavement Support Group
This will be co-led by a professional staff person from the Elizabeth Hospice and one of our pre-doctoral interns. There will be educational aspects about grief and the grieving process as well as lots of support. It’s open on a drop-in basis, that is, students can come every time, or once, or anything in between. Different aspects of grief will be the focus each meeting.

Healthy Relationships Workshop Series
This is a series of workshops on different topics that have to do with improved relationships, all kinds of relationships including romantic ones. The topics will be:
- Healthy Communication
- Anxiety in relationships
- Healthy and unhealthy romantic relationships
- Managing conflict in relationships
- Healthy parenting

Understanding & Managing Anxiety
For students who often feel overwhelmed by feelings of anxiety, nervousness, and stress, this is a group led by one of our Psychologists, Jay Robertson-Howell. Participants will learn how to better recognize their own fearful reactions and develop new ways to live more effectively.
When: This will be determined by student interest; when we get a sense of students who are interested, we’ll try to find a time that works for them

Meditation, Yoga, and Stress Reduction
For students who want to learn mindfulness meditation, combined with simple, gentle yoga. The purpose of the group is to teach participants to be more “in the moment”, to increase self-compassion, and to learn to relax through stress and habitual impulses. It will be led by one of our Psychologists, Bob Boucek.
When: This group will meet weekly for 8 sessions. Days/times will be determined by the schedules of interested students, and more than one may be offered.
