Have you or your partner been tested for HIV? Here is the opportunity to do so with our free anonymous testing available with a partnership through the North County Health Services.
Students desiring free HIV testing with Ora-Quick Rapid can be tested through SHCS on a walk-in basis. Testing includes both pre-test and post-test counseling sessions and referrals by trained counselors. Test results are available in 20 minutes.
THE SPRING 2012 SCHEDULE IS:
COST: FREE to currently enrolled CSUSM students
WHEN: 1st Tuesdays of the month @ 1:15 pm - 4:00 pm.
Walk-in only. First come, first serve. No appointments necessary.
PLACE: Student Health & Counseling Services
"Anonymous testing" means that the HIV test is not entered into your medical record. You are given a code and only you and your counselor know the result of your test. Because no identifying factors are connected with the test, it cannot be linked to you and copies of your results cannot be released
