Leadership -Tukwut Leadership Circle

Tukwut Leadership Circle is a program designed for students to explore and enhance their personal and professional leadership potential. You can do this by engaging in our multi-dimensional leadership certificate program. The program is open to all students, and you can go at your own pace. The program takes approximately 25 hours to complete, and you must complete the program components within two years.

Upon completion of the program you will receive a leadership certificate, signed by the Vice President of Student Affairs and the University President.

Why Tukwut Leadership Circle? Consider the shape--- there is no clear beginning or end, and you can go around as many times as you would like. The size can change, and the focus can be inward or outward. This is similar to your leadership path, where you continue to gather skills and momentum.

You will most likely enter the program through a workshop. Workshops are open to all students. You can also view the current workshop schedule and list of topics (link to schedule). Tukwut Leadership Circle is based on the theoretical model of the Social Change Model of Leadership, also known as the Seven C's of Leadership. This concept frames the components of the program, and you will find that the workshops are placed into the Seven C's categories. When you are ready, you can register for the program in the Student Life and Leadership office (Craven 3400).
