Thinking Outside of the [lunch] Box
Held once a month during University Hour, we provide intentional programming which offers the campus community an opportunity to engage, dialogue, and gain exposure to issues pertaining to social justice and multiculturalism. Events will include cultural performances, spoken word, informal roundtables, discussion groups, and presentations/guest lectures on thought-provoking contemporary issues.
Dinner Dialogues
This monthly series provides a venue for exploration and conversation on some of the more challenging topics in today's society. We bring a diverse group of students, staff, faculty and administrators together to discuss contemporary issues and themes.
Celebration of Culture
Held in the fall during Welcome Week, Celebration of Culture celebrates and acknowledges the diverse community that we belong to and provides new and returning students the opportunity to network with faculty, staff, and other students about the many cultural resources and organizations that are available on campus.
All People's Recognition Ceremony (click for nomination form)
Held in the spring towards the end of the academic year, the All People's Recognition Ceremony honors students, staff, faculty, alumnus, or community members who contribute their time, effort, and energy to increase multicultural understanding at CSUSM and in the surrounding community.
