Returning to CSUSM?

If you are applying to CSUSM as a returning student and have attended a CSUSM Orientation before, you are not required to attend an Orientation again. We do encourage any students who have been away from CSUSM for at least two years to attend Orientation. Things change, the campus has changed, and we want to ensure you are as prepared as possible to return to CSUSM this Fall!

Returning students will be eligible to register for courses without attending an Orientation. Check your Student Center in my.csusm.edu for your enrollment appointment time. Please note that enrollment appointments will be assigned to students who have accepted their intent to enroll and paid their $150 enrollment deposit by June 1st.

Important: If you are a Returning Pre-Health Science or Nursing student you are required to attend an Orientation in order to register for your classes.

Note regarding Academic Advising: Due to the busy nature of the Orientation season, you may not have the opportunity to receive academic advising assistance prior to registering for courses. Students who choose to not attend Orientation must pay close attention to payment deadlines and are responsible to adhere to these deadlines.
