Alcohol Education Requirement

As part of our campus wellness education efforts, Cal State San Marcos requires all incoming first-year students to complete an online alcohol, drug, and sexual assault education and prevention program.  As a new college student, this program will help you to make effective decisions and help you better cope with behaviors of your fellow students, friends or family. Cal State San Marcos is committed to the wellness and success of our students, and we are confident your participation in the program will be helpful to you as you begin your first year at our university.

As mentioned at Orientation, all incoming first-year students need to pass the Essentials Course in My Student Body with an 80% or better. Access MyStudentBody using the log-in instructions located to the right. You can also refer to your Orientation handbook for more information about the requirement.

To clear your requirement, please email a copy of your Certificate of Completion to orientation@csusm.edu or drop off a hard copy to the Student Life and Leadership office in Craven 3400 by November 1st.

Failure to meet the deadline will result in a hold being placed on a student's record preventing them from registering for Fall 2012 courses.
