Refund and Cancellation Policy

Orientation is a fee based program, meaning, without student fees, we can not offer this service to our new students! Due to this, we have strict policies in place to ensure we receive these fees.

If you would like to cancel or modify your Orientation reservation, you must contact the Orientation Programs Office one full week prior to your scheduled Orientation date in order to receive a refund. Please note that fees cannot be refunded after you have already attended an Orientation, despite any change in your admission status. You may re-schedule your Orientation date to a later date if an opening exists and you contact the Orientation Programs Office at least two weeks prior to your originally scheduled Orientation date.

Due to accomodating a large number of students, if you call to cancel within a week of your reservation, you may be held responsible to pay the Orientation fee. In addition, if you do not attend the Orientation you were reserved for and do not notify us ahead of time, you may be held responsible to pay the Orientation fee.

IMPORTANT: If you no longer plan on attending CSUSM, please cancel your reservation to allow space for another student. If your admission is rescinded after you have already attended an Orientation, we will not be able to process a refund.
