The Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program at CSUSM is designed as a transfer program.

Students must have met the Lower Division General Education requirements* prior to enrolling in this program (see table below). Please see the General Education Worksheet for SLP for specific recommended coursework.

Upper Division Requirements Lower Division Requirements
- Minimum 60 CSU transferable units - Minimum 45 CSU transferable units
- 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA - 2.0 minimum cumulative GPA

  - Meet CSUSM first-time freshman admission requirements

Prep to the Major Requirements

Once admitted to the program, students must also complete 15-units of lower-division preparatory coursework prior to the start of the major. CSUSM offers the 15-units of preparatory coursework in the first semester of this program.
