As Coordinator/Advisor for TRIO/SSS, Mr. LeDesma is responsible for oversight of admissions, educational advising, coordination of mid-semester evaluations, and financial aid for SSS students.  Ensures compliance with policies and Department of Education regulations in preparation for the Annual Performance Report.  Mr. LeDesma works in collaboration with TRIO Upward Bound/Talent Search, Financial Aid & Scholarships Office, Admissions and Disabled Student Services to ensure marketability of SSS program on campus.  Additionally, Mr. LeDesma coordinates retention efforts for SSS students.  In the most recent years, he has participated in the Latino Association of Faculty and Staff in the capacity of 2008 President and 2007 Secretary.

Since 2000, Mr. LeDesma has worked in the management and compliance of grant-funded programs. Most recently Mr. LeDesma was employed in workforce development with low-income and disabled populations as a program coordinator and employment specialist.  Prior to these positions, Mr. LeDesma served as an independent management consultant and assistant branch manager, teller operations supervisor, and corporate trainer for JP Morgan Chase.

Mr. LeDesma's professional interests include retention in higher education, multicultural competence, organizational development and leadership. He is also deeply concerned about equality in the workforce. In 1999, Mr. LeDesma was inducted to the Dean's List at The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.
