Staff Training and Recognition Squad (STARS)

The Division of Student Affairs annually recognizes the accomplishments of Student Affairs individuals and teams by awarding the Sandra R. Kuchler Employee of the Year Award, and the Student Affairs: STARS Team Award. Recipients are selected for their significant contributions in the realization of the mission and vision of the University and Student Affairs division.

Sandra R. Kuchler Employee of the Year Award

The Division of Student Affairs Sandra R. Kuchler Employee of the Year Award is presented annually in recognition of an individual's contributions to their department, the Student Affairs Division and the University. Recipients will be selected based upon the above mentioned contributions and based upon work contributing to the realization of the mission and vision of the university and the Student Affairs Division.


Student Affairs: STARS Team Award

The Student Affiairs: STARS Team award is presented in recognition of a group/team/committee's efforts reflecting the values of innovation, inclusiveness and diversity. Nominations should ideally reflect cross-department and either on-going or project-based efforts that are predominantly comprised of student affairs professionals.
