Testing Center has closed!!

(Effective 6/30/08)

Due to significant budget cuts, the Testing Center will be closing and will no longer be able to provide the extensive list of testing options that are currently provided such as the TEAS, BCLAD and specially proctored exams.  In addition, the number of EPT/ELM’s scheduled for the 2008-2009 academic year will not be provided beyond the three minimum tests that are required by the CSU.

What EPT/ELM tests are anticipated to be administered in the 08-09 FY? 

System-wide Exam Dates for EPT/ELM: 03/14/2009, 05/02/2009 and 06/13/2009.  These tests will be coordinated by Enrollment Management Services for these three dates only.

Where will students be referred for tests that are not administered at CSUSM?

Testing date information and test location sites will be posted on the website at http://www.csusm.edu/testing.

What options or test services will be available to Summer Bridge, CAMP, MAPS, Summer Academy and International students who are need of a summer test period (July –Aug)?

The EPT/ELM will be offered twice this summer for Cal State San Marcos Students ONLY.  Registration information will be sent to your campus email account in late June / early July.

Where can students go who still need to take the TEAS Exam? 

Cal State San Marcos School of Nursing will administer the TEAS Exam in the Nursing computer lab for their student applicants.  Contact:  Diane Barnhart School of Nursing 760-750-7550

Where do students go who need to take the BCLAD test?

The BCLAD exam will be administered by Extended Studies beginning July 1, 2008.

Where do students go who need to have a non-csusm test proctored?

Test Proctoring for distant learner will be provided through Disabled Student Services.  Call 760-750-4904 for additional information.
