The school year is officially underway and students are hungry for campus events! This Friday, September 11 at 7 p.m. on Forum Plaza, Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) and Tukwut Life will host Ultimate Cougar, an event that is sure to end the week with a bang.

This signature Friday night event will include inflatable obstacle courses, jousting competitions, henna artists and games such as Jenga and Connect Four. Free food and prizes will also be provided. If you’re looking for a way to have some fun after your long second week of school, Ultimate Cougar is the place to be!

“Ultimate Cougar will give students a rejuvenated spirit,” said Kyle Azcuna, ASI programming specialist. “The first two weeks of school can be stressful and I hope that Ultimate Cougar will be an opportunity for students to get to know each other and create bonds that will be beneficial in their collegiate career.”

This event is just one of twelve other Friday night events that students can attend throughout the semester as a part of the new Tukwut Life tradition. Attending these events will give students a chance to have fun on campus, mingle with fellow Cougars and also win great prizes through the Tukwut Life Loyalty Program. Students can pick up their loyalty cards at Ultimate Cougar this Friday. The more events you attend, the more likely you are to win!

“We want students to get involved and participate in campus events because it builds a community within our student population and helps them have a better, more well-rounded experience,” said Kyle.

So come on out and get a henna tattoo, have a jousting match with your friends or jump through the obstacle course! For more information on this event or other events throughout the semester, visit csusm.edu/tukwutlife.
