Judy Bauerlein, Ph.D.

Judy Bauerlein has worked extensively as a performer in both regional and New York theaters. She's performed new and collaborative work at the Southern Theatre in Minneapolis, Highways in Los Angeles, Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Wilma Theatre in Philadelphia, Lincoln Center Director's Lab ("Best of Series" 1998), The Public Theatre, and The Bread and Puppet Theatre. Film credits include Deconstructing Harry, Diary of a City Priest, Drunks, and Free Land by Minda Martin. She has received numerous awards for acting and collaborative outreach projects, including a Woodrow Wilson Humanities Fellowship, a UCIRA Research Grant, and a UCSB Regent's Fellowship. Judy is an Assistant Professor of Theatre at California State University San Marcos.
