Requirements For Minor in Music
The Music Minor is designed specifically for those students with a strong interest in the study of music who are not able to make the full commitment to the major (see the Music Track in the Visual and Performing Arts Major). The Minor has been designed to give the student a strong background in music including music theory, history, performance and technology. The student will complete a select series of courses that will give him/her exposure to various genres of world music, intermediate level skills in music theory/performance, and basic skills in the application of music technology.
