EMOTIONAL
WELLNESS
emphasizes awareness and acceptance of feelings, indicates the
degree to which individuals feel positive and enthusiastic about
themselves and their lives, includes the capacity to appropriately
manage emotions and related behaviors including realistic assessment
of one’s limitations, and possesses the ability to cope effectively
with stress.
SPIRITUAL WELLNESS
involves seeking meaning and purpose in human existence, includes
the development of a deep appreciation for the depth and expanse of
life and natural forces that exist in the universe, involves getting
in touch with one’s innermost self – values and creativity and
values education and engages in lifelong learning.
INTELLECTUAL
WELLNESS
encourages the development of intellectual capacities to their
fullest and the use of resources available to expand knowledge, and
expanding the potential for sharing with others.
PHYSICAL
WELLNESS
promotes participation in activities for cardiovascular endurance,
