The Writing Center is now hiring for Fall 2013. Students from all departments are encouraged to apply.
Note for end of Spring 2013: We do not sign GEW forms in our last open week, May 6 to 10. Please make your required GEW visits by May 3.
The Writing Center at Cal State San Marcos is a welcoming learning environment where certified student consultants offer constructive guidance to all writers of all levels at all stages of the writing process.
Consultants work with students on any aspect of a piece of writing, offering strategies, advice, and resources to help the student improve her/his writing abilities. One of the central goals of the Writing Center is to help make better writers, not just better writing. We do this by focusing our feedback on the writing process, not just the paper at hand.

Afraid of commitment? This day is for you! It's new this semester: "Walk-in Wednesdays." Full staffing, but no appointments needed or possible. Come in when the mood strikes you!
