Our Services
The Writing Center offers one-on-one tutoring sessions for all students. We can work with any paper, for any class at CSUSM. We also offer online tutoring services. For more information about our online services, visit our Online Tutoring page.
We currently offer brief (10 minutes) classroom presentations about the Writing Center. These sessions help introduce students to our services and what we can offer in terms of assistance. These are best scheduled at the beginning of a semester or a few weeks before a large paper is due. If you are interested in a classroom visit, please contact us.
We also can put together workshop on a variety of writing related topics (citing sources, developing thesis statements, etc.). These workshop can be set up at the request of either a faculty member or a group of students. If you are interested in arranging a workshop, email Writing Center Director, Erin Goldin.
